Five McCain Advisers Resign Over Ties to Lobbyists

Well here we go, just one of SOOO many instances where McCain is proving himself to be completely hypocritical and that his style of governance would be frighteningly similar to what we have had for the past 8 years

(Here in my blog I will do my best over the coming months to point to these important stories that illustrate the true nature of McCain. For we need to be vigilant if we are to bust the media Myth about this dangerous and untruthful man.)

So in the past few weeks FIVE of McCain's' top advisers have had to quit due to ties with lobbyists. And many remain.

Now let us remember that McCain claims to be anti lobbyist and the this is one of the myths about him.

In fact McCain’s campaign manager Rick Davis is on leave from the lobbying firm he has run for years and McCain’s top political adviser Charles Black is the founder of the Washington lobbying firm Black & Associates.

In addition to these current advisers he has lost five in the past few weeks because they decided to sever ties with him rather than their lobbyist jobs. These are:

1)McCain’s national finance co-chair Tom Loeffler has resigned after it was revealed his lobbying firm has collected nearly $15 million from Saudi Arabia since 2002.

2)McCain’s energy adviser Eric Burgeson stepped down after it was revealed he is lobbyist on energy issues for Barbour Griffith & Rogers.

3/4)two other McCain staffers resigned after acknowledging they had lobbied for the military junta in Burma.

What is wrong with this picture? Well first McCain says he is against lobbyists and then has a staff full of them - hypocritical - calling into question the honesty of what he says. Second, if you look at the past 8 years you can see that a country run by people who have such close ties to industry lobbyists and despotic regimes is a poorly run country full of cronyism and corporate greed run amok.

Of course the democrats aren't innocent in this area but they are not in the same league as the Republicans by any stretch of the imagination.
